Noah Ohio is a young player who knows his own mind and what is best for his career. Several times he talks about how he has had to be "selfish" when it comes to deciding which path to go down.
It also explains why he has walked away from the academy set-up at Manchester United and Manchester City. The 20-year-old is now catching the eye at Standard Liege and had he fallen for Vincent Kompany's overtures a year ago he would be back in the Premier League by now, but a return to England one day is his target and the striker has plenty of friends still here from the five years he spent in Manchester.
But Ohio took the decision to leave the youth set-up at United and City because he felt his own career would be best served elsewhere.
After two years at United he moved across Manchester, attracted by an academy that was leading the way at the time and the education on offer with City at St Bede's.
