Motherwell have agreed a new deal with Aston Oxborough - as they look to kick-off a number of extension talks for a number of their first-team stars.
The big keeper has come in and made the No.1 spot his own this season and is set to pen a deal until the summer of 2027. The 26-year-old moved to Fir Park from Norwich City two years ago and was handed the gloves when Liam Kelly left for Rangers in the summer.
Oxborough has come in and established himself and manager Stuart Kettlewell made it his priority to get his current deal extended beyond the summer.
Motherwell chief executive Brian Caldwell has confirmed talks have kicked off with a number of players, whose deals are set to expire at the end of the season.
