Manchester United are on the verge of signing Antony. The Red Devils have agreed to pay Ajax £85m for the Brazilian forward, per BBC Sport.
Antony is due to arrive in Manchester to complete a medical this week. The 22-year-old is set to become United’s fifth summer arrival.
Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen have all already completed moves to the club. His arrival makes United’s games against Liverpool even more interesting.
That’s because Antony has history of clashing with the Reds’ star striker, Darwin Nunez. In February 2022, the two players came to blows in the Champions League last-16 first leg tie between Benfica and Ajax.
