Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have addressed This Morning going off air on Thursday (July 20) at the end of what was their penultimate show of the week.
The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Wednesday (July 19) and informed viewers of an upcoming change. It was previously revealed that ITV is undergoing a bit of a shake-up this week when it comes to its usual morning TV schedule.
As part of the changes, This Morning will be taken off air on Thursday (July 20) as ITV will instead be showing the FIFA Women's World Cup as it gets underway in Australia and New Zealand.
It will then return on Friday, with Alison and Dermot still at the helm. Instead on Thursday, Lorraine Kelly will host a bumper edition of her show from 9am with an extra 15 minutes added to her slot ahead of the Australia vs Republic of Ireland coverage kicking off at 10.15am.
