Sorry Alfredo Morelos has spoken out for the first time since the news of his car crash in Colombia, thanking his club and teammates for their support.

It was reported last week that the former Rangers striker, now on loan at Atletico Nacional, had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after his car crashed into a motorbike having crossed lanes on the motorway to overtake a truck.

Shocking photos and footage later emerged and Morelos is facing a fine of around £4000 plus community service, driving licence suspension and a potential compensation payout.

He's set to find out on Friday whether he has a future at his club having not featured since the news broke. It's also been reported that his lawyers are unhappy with the way authorities handled his breathalyser test and could push to have the legal case thrown out.
