Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho hailed teammate Lisandro Martinez following his outstanding performance in the Reds' 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday night.

The 24-year-old experienced a difficult evening against the Bees just over a week ago and was taken off at half-time. Despite that, manager Erik ten Hag decided to name Martinez in his starting line-up for the clash with Jurgen Klopp's side, choosing to drop club captain Harry Maguire instead.

The latter was replaced by Raphael Varane, who was awarded his first start of the campaign.
