Al-Nassr to face Regional Training Center, Al-Ittihad take on Al-Yamamah in Women’s Futsal Tournament semi-finals

RIYADH: The last four teams at the Women’s Futsal Tournament taking place during Ramadan were confirmed on Tuesday night after the quarter-finals were completed at the Green Halls and Riyadh Club Hall in the Saudi capital.

Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Yamamah, and the Regional Training Center will now contest the semi-finals on Thursday. The Regional Training Center team came back from a goal down to defeat Al-Ahli 5-3 at the Green Halls, before being joined in the last four by Al-Nassr, who comprehensively overcame Najmat Jeddah with an 8-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Riyadh Club Hall saw 27 goals in two quarter-finals as, first, Al-Ittihad beat Esperance 12-0, before Al-Yamamah defeated Al-Mottahed 14-1.

The semi-finals will be held at the Green Halls, with Al-Nassr taking on the Regional Training Center, and Al-Ittihad facing Al-Yamamah in the second match.
