2024 Olympic qualifiers: NFF announces Super Falcons squad to play Cameroon

Uchenna Kanu (1st R) of Nigeria celebrates with teammates after scoring the Super Falcons’ first goal in their 3-2 win over Australia.Photo: AFPNigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the Super Falcons’ 21-player squad for the Paris 2024 third-round Olympic qualifiers against Cameroon.The names of the invited players were announced on the Super Falcons X handle on Friday.Top on the list of the invited players are Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie, Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu, Jennifer Echegini, Christy Ucheibe and Ashleigh Plumptre, who is making a return to the team after the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup.Also invited for the qualifiers are Tochukwu Oluehi, Halimatu Ayinde, Deborah Abiodun, Tosin Demehin, Omorinsola Babajide, Esther Okoronkwo, Ifeoma Onumonu, Toni Payne and Monday Gift.The first leg against Cameroon will be played on Friday, 23 February 2024.
