Manchester United are due to welcome back 15 international players over the next week ahead of leaving for their pre-season tour of the United States.

United started pre-season training last week with players not on international duty in June and academy players to offset the absence of senior squad members.

New signing Mason Mount participated in United's first sessions as he was unavailable for England's European Championship qualifying wins over Malta and North Macedonia through injury.

Those who were involved in last month's internationals were entitled to a three-week break before reporting back at their clubs.
