Yankee Candle Christmas bus to stop off in Manchester for three days - with free gift bags and a 'magical' experience

At this point, we all know about the Coca-Cola Truck (or even the cheeky Lidl alternative) but there’s a new festive vehicle coming to town next week - and it’s set to smell far better than soda.

The Yankee Candle Express will be stopping off in Manchester from Friday to Sunday (November 29 to December 1) next week to allow people to hop on board and experience what has been described as a ‘magical fragrance sensorium’ just in time for Christmas.

Setting up at Piccadilly Gardens, which is currently forming part of the Manchester Christmas Markets’ Winter Gardens, the world-famous candle brand will be making things smell a bit more festive - with the likes of cinnamon and festive tree pines set to fill the air.

Via the power of ‘magic’, the bus will transport passengers to a cosy and inviting space - inspired by Yankee Candle’s latest festive TV ad - which will feature a photobooth and a comforting armchair to enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate from.

There will also be competitions for people to take part in, with a number of Yankee Candle prizes up for grabs for the lucky few too. Each visitor will also receive a free gift bag of festive fragrances to take home or gift to a loved one.

The Manchester appearance forms part of a wider nationwide tour, which began at King’s Cross Station in London last week alongside a trip to the Bullring in Birmingham. This weekend, the festive train will be stopping at Bristol’s Cabot Circus.
