WWE WrestleMania: How The Undertaker reacted to being told Brock Lesnar was ending his streak

The Undertaker didn’t agree with Brock Lesnar being the man to end his WWE WrestleMania undefeated streak in 2014.

After 21 consecutive victories at WrestleMania, WWE had Brock Lesnar become the first man to defeat The Undertaker at the biggest pay-per-view of the year.

The match happened in 2014 at WrestleMania XXX, and has remained one of the most shocking victories in wrestling history.

Fans have long debated about who should have been the man to defeat The Undertaker, with some believing that Brock Lesnar wasn’t the right guy.

Some fans are of the belief that Lesnar didn’t actually need to beat The Undertaker, and would have been fine without it.

Interestingly enough, in an interview with CBS Sports, ‘The Deadman’ has revealed that he was also concerned about Lesnar ending his streak.

‘Taker said that, like some fans, he didn’t feel that Brock Lesnar needed the huge rub of being the first man to defeat him at WrestleMania.

“I didn’t feel like Brock needed it. Brock was already a huge star, and it wasn’t going to help him one way or another. My only concern was there might have been someone down the line that could have benefited from it more, and that probably would’ve been Roman later on.

The Undertaker explained that he wanted to make sure that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was sure that Brock was the right guy to beat him.

“My biggest concern was I just wanted to make sure that [McMahon] was sure, and that’s what he wanted to do.”

Things worked out in the end, as The Undertaker explained that in hindsight, Brock Lesnar was probably the right choice.
