WrestleMania: Charlotte promises to "steal the show" with Ronda Rousey

WWE is just weeks away from getting the 2022 WrestleMania weekend underway and fans are in for a treat when the jam-packed schedule unfolds.

Charlotte Flair is just one of the stars on the roster who is set to compete in Arlington, Texas next month.

The Queen will take on Ronda Rousey, who threw down the gauntlet to her former rival following her Royal Rumble victory.

Flair has held the SmackDown Women’s Championship since October, when she traded belts with Becky Lynch following the 2021 Draft. Her next big test will see her defend it against The Baddest Woman on the Planet, who returned to the company in January.

The Flair vs Rousey clash will be one of the headlining matches and The Queen is confident the two will take the spotlight with their performance.

She reflected on her glittering WWE career and believes it has gone full circle — from making history at WrestleMania in Texas in 2016, to the same stage in 2022 where she will defend her title.

Charlotte became the winner of the inaugural WWE Women’s Championship after defeating Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch at the pay-per-view. The new title replaced the Divas Championship, which The Queen had also previously held.

“I don’t know, I feel like it hasn’t hit me but it has,” Flair told Superstar Crossover (h/t Wrestling Inc). “I am sure that week [WrestleMania lead up] there’s going to be a lot of emotions, just because it means so much to me. Not even as a performer and like being nervous or what it feels like. But I am like, ‘man, I did it.’
