WWE: Becky Lynch responds as Bianca Belair could miss WrestleMania

Bianca Belair’s hopes of competing for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania next month have been dashed.

WWE released an update on the star’s injury status after Becky Lynch launched a brutal attack last Monday on Raw.

Belair has suffered a fractured hyoid bone and has been ruled out of action. While a timeframe for her absence has not been specified, there is a big risk that she could miss WrestleMania 38.

A feud between Lynch and Belair has been going on for weeks now, and every time the two have met in the ring, tensions have reached boiling point.

Earlier this month, the two met at a WWE live event and Big Time Becks suffered an injury to her throat, which left her needing hospital treatment. It was later revealed she had fractured her voice box.

This was the second time in the same week that Belair had done serious damage to Lynch.

Prior to injuring her throat, The EST of WWE had used her braid to whip The Man across the torso, leaving her with some brutal wounds.

Seeking revenge, Lynch returned from a brief absence and gave Belair a taste of her own medicine.

On the latest episode of Raw, Big Time Becks launched an attack on Belair after watching her match against Doudrop ringside. Lynch trapped The EST in a steel chair and rammed her into the post of the ring, purposely trying to injure her throat.

Sure enough, Belair is sidelined and recovering from injury, which may rule her out of the scheduled pay-per-view title clash next month.

The former SmackDown women’s champion is penned to take on Lynch for the red brand title, but this could well change and The Man is seemingly already looking for a replacement opponent.

Belair was forced to withdraw from a scheduled live event match with Lynch this weekend.
