WWE: Top star legitimately made Vince McMahon bleed with brutal 2017 headbutt

WWE Superstar Kevin Owens legitimately made Vince McMahon bleed with a sickening headbutt in 2017.

In one of the most shocking WWE moments ever, Owens left McMahon, who was 72 years old at the time, on the floor with a brutal blow to the head.

Fans have speculated for years that the headbutt was gimmicked, but it’s been reiterated that it was 100% legitimate.

The brutal spot came during the September 12 episode of SmackDown in 2017, which was used to build towards the Hell in a Cell match between Owens and Shane McMahon.

You can see footage of the memorable moment below, in case you aren’t aware or haven’t seen it already.

As Road Dogg noted, due to Vince’s age, as well as the increased awareness of how dangerous concussions can be, there was real concern from within WWE about the boss.

The new Chief Content Officer has always been a big fan of Owens, dating back to their time working together in NXT.
