WWE: Sasha Banks' recent Instagram story suggests return might not be happening

WWE fans have been left seriously worried by the prospect that Sasha Banks’ return could now be off.

Ever since Triple H came to power following Vince McMahon’s retirement, rumours have linked Sasha with a return to WWE.

However, The Boss’ latest Instagram post suggests that, despite what the rumours may say, she’s not coming back anytime soon.

It was reported by various reputable sources this summer that following Vince McMahon's retirement, Triple H had contacted both Sasha Banks and Naomi about making potential returns.

The reports had stated that Banks and Naomi had agreed to come back, but those reports emerged in August, and we've still not seen the duo back in WWE.

As a result, fans have been left worried that Naomi and Sasha's planned returns to WWE have fallen through, which would be nothing short of a big blow to WWE.

In fact, the feeling that Banks' comeback to WWE is now off was compounded after an Instagram story she posted over the weekend.

As you can see above, Banks posted a fan edit onto her Instagram story over the weekend, with the graphic showing her facing former WWE star Kairi Sane for the new IWGP Women's Championship.

Sasha could just be trolling the fans here, but surely it's unlikely that she'd tease joining STARDOM if she'd already agreed to rejoin WWE.

Some fans are convinced that Sasha is just trying to throw them off the scent that she's coming back to WWE, but others, as you can see below, are seriously worried her return has fallen through.
