WWE: Ronda Rousey next opponent confirmed after SmackDown Six-Pack challenge

Ronda Rousey’s next title competitor has been decided following the latest round of Friday Night SmackDown results.

The go home show for this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell saw Natalya come out on top in a high stakes Six-Pack Challenge.

The WWE veteran outlasted her five opponents and secured the victory by defeating Shotzi Blackheart via pinfall.

In 2017, Natalya won her first and only WWE singles title when she beat Naomi to claim the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Her victory made her the first woman to hold both the Divas Championship and SmackDown titles.

The Canadian Superstar reigned for 86 days before dropping the blue brand belt to Charlotte Flair.

Since then, Natalya has been a dominant force on the tag team scene with Tamina, but has been out of luck when it comes to being a single competitor.

However, after coming out on top against some of WWE’s most exciting female stars in the Six-Pack Challenge, she could finally be about to break the curse and return to her throne after a long five years.

The match for the SmackDown women’s title clash saw Aliyah, Natalya, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi Blackheart and Xia Li all enter the ring.

The clash took place in front of Rousey, who sat ringside to see who would become her next title competitor.

All six women certainly delivered entertainment for the reigning champion.

A great performance towards the end from Aliyah suggested the SmackDown rookie would come out on top, despite nearly missing her chance to compete in the first place due to Shotzi locking her inside a locker room.
