Sasha Banks sign on SmackDown photoshopped out by WWE

During Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, viewers may have noticed a pretty clear sign in the crowd that read “Sasha Krew 4 Life.”

However, in a shocking and shameful turn of events, it has been spotted by @Fightful on Twitter that the WWE digitally edited the image to turn the sign blank on their image gallery of highlights from the night’s show.

The sign, initially seen in the background of Raquel Gonzalez celebrating her victory over Shayna Baszler, is most likely a reference to the ongoing dispute between Sasha Banks, her tag partner Naomi, and the WWE.

Prior to an episode of Raw on May 16, Banks and Naomi dramatically walked out on the franchise, reportedly leaving their Women’s Tag Team Titles on John Laurinaitis’ desk.

The tag team champions’ discontent arose following unhappiness with the creative plans prospected for themselves and feeling not respected enough as a tag team and even feeling unsafe when entering the ring against other opponents.

Following the controversial walkout, the WWE has taken an extremely uncompromising and antagonistic approach to fan out popular Banks and Naomi, swiftly removing all their merchandise from the WWE shop and Facebook pages. The franchise also confirmed that the pair had been suspended without pay and have been stripped of their Women’s Tag Team Championship Titles.
