WWE Hell in a Cell: Fan footage of AJ Styles suffering brutal head cut

AJ Styles was in action at WWE Hell in a Cell last night, teaming up with Finn Balor and Liv Morgan.

The trio joined forces for the very first time to take on Rhea Ripley, Edge and Damian Priest, collectively known as Judgement Day.

The match, which ended up being won by Edge and his team, was incredibly fast-paced and was probably one of the matches of the night.

At one point in the match, AJ Styles took a blow to the head, with the former WWE Champion suffering a rather nasty cut.

Fan footage has emerged of AJ lying on the outside of the ring during his match last night, with blood noticeably gushing from his head.

The footage is rather brutal, and when you look at that, it’s not surprising that WWE’s medical team rushed to check on the 45-year-old.

This was just the last chapter in the feud between AJ Styles and Edge, with the two wrestling legends starting off their issues back in March.

Since then, Edge has turned heel, recruited Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to his group, and now has three consecutive pay-per-view wins over AJ.

Many fans expected a new member to join Judgement Day last night, possibly in the form of Ciampa, or even Finn Balor, but that didn’t end up happening.

As of right now, there’s no word on if the feud between Styles and Edge is set to continue, but given that AJ hasn’t beaten the WWE Hall of Famer yet, you’d suspect that it is.

Some have also speculated that both Edge and AJ will be part of the Money in the Bank ladder match next month, which would certainly give the match some more star power.
