WWE Extreme Rules 2022: Three new matches being considered to be added

WWE Extreme Rules takes place tomorrow night, but Triple H seemingly isn’t done adding to the card.

Six matches have been announced for the show already, but it doesn’t seem like that’s where WWE is going to stop.

Reports from the Wrestling Observer have claimed that three more matches could be added to the Premium Live Event on Saturday evening.

Below is the match card for Extreme Rules tomorrow night, with fans quite happy that Triple H wants to restore integrity to the pay-per-view by having every bout be a stipulation match.

However, as noted, more matches could be set to be added to the card for tomorrow night’s show.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, courtesy of Dave Meltzer, notes that more matches could be added to tomorrow night’s show, via WrestleTalk.

There was nothing done this week to set up an Usos tag title match which had been considered last week. Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai have done programs with both Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi and with Alexa Bliss & Asuka, although they did an injury angle for Asuka. There has also been a lot of push for Miz vs. Dexter Lumis.”

So it seems like WWE is considering adding a match for The Usos at the show tomorrow night, although their potential opponents are unclear at this stage.

They could face Street Profits, who they were involved with during Raw this week, but WWE is running a Montez Ford injury angle at the moment so that seems unlikely.

A match for IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, the Women’s Tag Team Champions is also a possibility with WWE seemingly have two teams that they could defend their titles against.
