WWE 2K22: MyGM Mode Returns After 14-Year Hiatus

The developers of WWE 2K22 have announced that the infamous MyGM game mode will be making a return for the first time in over 14 years.

This feature has not been seen since WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008, where players could become a General Manager of any of the WWE brands.

2K brought this to the attention of the WWE universe with an entertaining trailer narrated by the company’s chief brand officer (CBO) Stephanie McMahon.

The developers opted to bypass releasing a possible 2K21 game following the wave of negative feedback they received on the back of the 2K20 release, with players complaining about an endless amount of bugs and glitches in the game.

As a result, they have had the opportunity to iron out those devilish technical creases and even introduce game modes that players loved playing in the past.

In the trailer itself, 2K revealed that gamers can play from one of four general managers – Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, Shane McMahon or Stephanie herself. Either that or a character can be created to step in their place.

Setting up live events and organising intense rivalries are just a few ways in which the rating of a general manager can be boosted – as well as pick superstars up from the WWE Draft and evaluate their stats and mannerisms carefully.
