As SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey prepare for their WrestleMania Saturday showdown on April 2, Flair opted to interrupt Michael Cole’s emotional interview with her challenger to engaged Rousey, just seconds after The Rowdy One announced her goal to make The Queen tap out.
As Flair attempted to belittle her WrestleMania opponent from outside the ring, WWE Official Sonya Deville suddenly attacked Rousey from behind.
Seizing the opportunity, The Queen grabbed Ronda’s leg from the ringside area and smashed her surgically repaired knee into the ring post.
Despite this, The Rowdy One regained the advantage and tossed Deville down to the canvas. Although Sonya narrowly escaped, Rousey’s actions made it clear that she is not yet done with the nefarious Deville.
