Wrexham v King's Lynn Town: Parkinson sees 'no reason why goals won't keep coming'

Wrexham are back in National League action at the Racecourse again tomorrow night as they face King's Lynn Town in the club's second home game in the space of three days.

Phil Parkinson's side put in an impressive performance against Aldershot Town on Saturday to come away with a 4-1 win and continue the club's rise up the table ahead of a vital run of games.

The Dragons boss will be hoping for a repeat performance in the St David's Day clash against a side who are currently battling against relegation, lying second from bottom in the table.

The Reds on the other hand are in a rich vein of form, having recovered from the defeat at Torquay United three weeks ago by winning their last four matches - including three in the league.

Wrexham now find themselves firmly in the promotion chasing pack, nine points behind leaders Stockport County with a game in hand and with the Hatters yet to visit the Racecourse.

Despite King's Lynn's struggles Parkinson is adamant that his side will have to be at their best to take the three points, having been impressed with the Linnets when he saw them away at Grimsby recently.

He said: "Every game is big now. I went to see King's Lynn at Grimsby a few weeks ago and they showed a real resilience that night and made themselves very difficult to beat.

"Our talk before the game will be exactly the same - nothing less than we showed against Aldershot will be good enough."

Fans sang Phil Parkinson's name in the first half against the Shots and there seems to be a belief now that the side are gaining momentum ahead of what will be a decisive couple of months in the National League promotion race.
