'World class' - Arsenal fans react to what Martin Odegaard did in Norway's win over Slovakia

Arsenal's chief creative midfielder Martin Odegaard has continued his fine club form on the international scene, scoring a sensational goal.

Norway hosted Slovakia in a friendly this evening and ran out 2-0 winners, with Erling Halland notching the first, before Odegaard put the game to bed in the 80th minute, with a precise curling shot into the far corner on the edge of the box.

Unsurprisingly, the Norway captain's goal became a trending topic on social media, Twitter in particular, and Arsenal fans have reacted to the £30 million summer signing's well-taken finish.

Odegaard has been a revelation for the Gunners this season and has formed an excellent partnership with Hale End Graduate Bukayo Saka on the right-hand side.

The chemistry between the two has enabled the wide rotations across the flank to be very fluid, which has led to Arsenal showing clear improvements in their attacking quality.

Certainly, manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping that Odegaard can continue to maintain consistency once the international break is over, with the Gunners' next game taking place at Selhurst Park, where they will be facing Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace.
