Arsenal ace Martin Odegaard caught the eye in the international break as he pulled off an outrageous series of skills for Norway in their friendly clash with Armenia.

They may not have qualified for the World Cup in Qatar, but Norway were in brutal mood on Tuesday night as they won 9-0 in Oslo, although Odegaard did not find the target. Watford's Josh King netted a hat-trick while Erling Haaland and Alexander Sorloth scored two each.

Odegaard has been a standout performer for Arsenal since making the permanent switch to the Emirates during the January transfer window, netting five goals and providing three assists in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta has also become a huge admirer of the 23-year-old, playing him in each game since his return.

"He was terrific again today, in every aspect of the game," Arteta said after Arsenal's 2-0 win over Leicester. "What he had to do in defending, when we were high and deep; in build-up phases; in the final third, the way he understood and managed the game when he was needed.

"He's come a long way since his arrival, he is showing great maturity and responsibility on the pitch and he makes the other players better, I think."
