Woman, 30, 'knew something had to change' after mortifying Tenerife incident
A mum-of-three who was told she was too big to go on a waterslide while on holiday has lost more than eight stone.
Sian Doulton was celebrating her 30th birthday in Tenerife with her husband Graham Doulton, 41, and said she was a "hot sweaty mess". Tipping the scales at 19st 2.8lbs, Sian tried to go on a waterslide but was told she was too big and was left mortified.
When she got back to the UK, she decided enough was enough and signed up for the 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan - which involves smoothies and shakes. After ditching oven-ready meals, takeaways and snacks, Sian lost 8st 1lbs and said she feels like a new woman.

She now weighs 11st 1lbs and can fit into a size 10 with ease. Sian, a maternity support worker, from Sandbach, Cheshire, said: "We went all-inclusive while we were away. I remember going down to the restaurant and having three to four plates of food.
"Walking about the resort my legs would be chafing, I was a hot and sweaty mess. One morning, I went to go on a waterslide and the lifeguard told me I was too big.
"I was mortified, I couldn't believe it - it was so embarrassing. I would walk around the beach and I couldn't walk very far and I knew that something had to change."
Sian went from a size 22 to a size 10 in eight months by cutting down on sugar, carbs and fat - documenting her journey on social media @slim.with.sian. She said: "I thought it was going to be much much harder, I have tried to lose weight before but it has never clicked.
