Wolves transfer news: 'Big Premier League clubs looking at' signing 'amazing' Molineux star

Some of the Premier League’s heavyweight outfits are mulling over whether to make a summer move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Max Kilman, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The transfer window slammed shut on Monday, but that has not stopped clubs looking at potential reinforcements ahead of arrivals being possible at the end of the season.

90min have revealed Kilman has worked his way onto the radar of Manchester United after a string of impressive performances at the heart of Wolves’ defence.

The report suggests Ralf Rangnick, who was appointed as the Red Devils’ interim manager in November and is due to take up a consultancy role at the end of the campaign, will play a key role in future incomings and is monitoring Kilman’s progress.

Should clubs look to tempt Kilman away from Molineux, Wolves will be in a strong negotiating position as his contract is not due to expire until the summer of 2026 and has the option of being extended by a further 12 months.

Kilman has admitted he is pleased with how he has progressed since working his way into Wolves’ rearguard but also looking to take his career to the next level.

The 24-year-old’s form has not gone unnoticed as it was revealed by The Athletic in November that he is being monitored by England boss Gareth Southgate.

Former Premier League defender Micah Richards, via Molineux.News, is among the high-profile pundits to have showered praise on Kilman as well.
