Wolves: 'No chance' - Major claim emerges on £74.25m trio's Molineux future

Wolverhampton Wanderers will not allow the midfield trio of Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker to leave Molineux in the summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

A 3-2 defeat to Leeds United, having held a two-goal lead, resulted in Wolves going into the international break after a setback and there have been suggestions that head coach Bruno Lage could be forced into rebuilding his options in the middle of the park ahead of next season.

Neves is understood to be on Barcelona’s radar as the Daily Mail have revealed the Catalan giants are eager to strike a deal at the end of the season.

The report suggests talks have already been held between Barcelona and the 25-year-old’s intermediaries.

Italian media outlet Calciomercato have claimed Juventus are also hoping to prise Neves away from Molineux, while Manchester United and Arsenal reportedly pursued the Portuguese ace during the winter window and a deal would have been possible if either of the Premier League rivals had lodged a bid worth in the region of £45million.

Moutinho is currently Wolves’ highest-earner as his contract is worth £100,000-per-week, but there are doubts over his long-term future as the deal is set to expire in the summer.

Lage has revealed he is relaxed over the situation and remains in no rush to enter negotiations with the £2.25million-rated central midfielder.

According to the Daily Mail, Wolves may listen to offers for Dendoncker – who is valued at £27million by Transfermarkt – at the season’s climax.

Jones would not be surprised to see clubs show an interest in some of Wolves’ biggest names at the end of the season.
