Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes 'on the radar of Manchester United' and more transfer rumours

Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes is reportedly 'on the radar' of Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Reds expected to add to their ranks.

As reported by Football Insider, the 24-year-old is on United's shortlist as Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his midfield options at the end of the campaign. It is thought that Premier League rivals Liverpool are also keen on the player, while Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the Portuguese ace.

Nunes, who has registered one goal and one assist since signing for Wolves from Sporting CP last summer, has impressed for the Midlands outfit. He signed a five-year deal with the club, which means Julen Lopetegui's side would be able to demand a hefty price for the midfield ace.

Given that the future of on-loan ace Marcel Sabitzer remains unclear - while Scott McTominay has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford - Ten Hag is likely to sign a new midfielder in the summer. Nunes came up against the Reds when the two sides met earlier in the campaign, with United coming out on top.

Elsewhere, Corriere dello Sport (via FCInterNews) have reported that Inter Milan could be forced to sell goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer, with United thought to be interested in the shot-stopper.

The report claims the Italian side could listen to offers for the Cameroonian if they miss out on the Champions League places, although Inter would prefer to keep hold of Onana, who arrived from Ajax last year.
