Wolves make 'approach' for midfielder amid cut-price transfer fee claim
Wolves have reportedly kickstarted their summer transfer window work with an approach for Sporting CP midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Palhinha has been linked with a move to Molineux previously and Bruno Lage could finally land the signing after putting the wheels in motion for the move. Previously, Portuguese newspaper A Bola claimed that a move to the Black Country is the most likely option before Record claimed it is "nearly certain" that the midfielder would not remain in Portugal for next season.
Premier League rivals Leicester City and Everton are said to "follow the midfielder", with it being "known" that the 26-year-old would leave for less than his €60m (£50m) release clause. Recent reports claim that the minimum price will be €25m (£21.25m).
