Seferovic, Onuachu, Kalajdzic: The strikers Wolves could sign for Bruno Lage

Bruno Lage would like to add another striker to his Wolverhampton Wanderers squad in the summer.

Raul Jimenez and Fabio Silva are Wolves’ current striking options, but Lage has admitted he would like three centre-forwards to choose from if possible. Mexican Jimenez is Lage's first choice, with Silva playing second fiddle for most of last season.

"We would have more solutions, but it doesn't mean one guy comes and stays in front of Fabio," Lage explained at a recent press conference. "What I want is if you are creating the profile of a squad, the best example if what he have with the wingers - every winger can do little things different.

"When I look at the profile of the strikers, if I can I prefer to have three. I have a guy like Fabio, a player like Raul... Fabio can do the runs in the channels very good, he's working hard to improve his game between the lines to link, he's very good to find spaces in the box to score goals."

But what kind of striker does Lage want to complete his department? "You can also have a young guy to be that striker in the box to win the aerial duels," Lage added. "It's not to bring one guy to stay in front of Fabio, it's to bring one guy to have different profiles."

Given Fosun’s recent record in the transfer market, Lage's wish isn't guaranteed to be granted. The potential sales of Ruben Neves and Adama Traore should free up some cash though, so here are some aerially dominant strikers who fit Lage's profile...
