Wolves: 'Clubs will be looking' at 365-game Molineux duo

Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Joao Moutinho and Romain Saiss are sure to have a number of suitors looking to profit from their precarious contract situation at Molineux, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Moutinho and Saiss have racked up 365 appearances between them since joining Wolves, but it appears their time in the West Midlands could be coming to an end.

There are doubts over where Moutinho and Saiss will be competing next season as their respective contracts are set to expire at the end of June.

Although two key men would depart if Wolves are unable to tie the duo down to new deals, Wolves head coach Bruno Lage has revealed he is relaxed over the situation and remains in no rush to enter negotiations.

Clubs are already looking to profit from the situation and according to Jornal de Noticias, via Sport Witness, Moutinho could be set to return to his homeland.

As things stand, the 142-cap Portugal international is Wolves’ highest-earner as his contract is understood to be worth £100,000-per-week.

Saiss, whose current agreement is worth £22,000-per-week, is also catching the attention of a club overseas.

Moroccan media outlet Hespress have claimed the 31-year-old has become a target for Spanish outfit Sevilla.

Having entered the final six months of their respective deals at the turn of the year, 35-year-old Moutinho and Saiss are able to already sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of England.
