Wolves: Bruno Lage facing 'impossible' transfer problem at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers will find it ‘impossible to stop’ players from ‘pondering what the future holds for them’, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The Midlands outfit have seen stars such as Diogo Jota and Adama Traore depart for the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona, respectively, in recent times, with other key figures also linked to some European giants.

Jota swapped Molineux for Anfield in September 2020 after three successful years with Wolves and has elevated his game to new heights ever since.

In just 69 appearances for Liverpool, the Portugal international has registered 32 goals and four assists and could win an unprecedented four trophies this season.

Meanwhile, Traore returned to his boyhood club Barca on a six-month loan deal during the January transfer window and has showcased his true potential under the tutelage of new manager Xavi.

A healthy tally of four assists in his 10 appearances for the Blaugrana has revitalised the pacey winger’s stuttering career, potentially opening his former teammates’ eyes to moves away from Wolves of their own.

Star midfielder Ruben Neves has reportedly attracted the attention of Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and Arsenal.
