Will I’m A Celebrity’s Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent be replaced after quitting?

Two celebrities have quit this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Leaving fans wondering if they will be replaced. American actress Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, and food critic Grace Dent have both left the jungle on ‘medical grounds’.

Bosses of the ITV show announced Grace’s departure on Monday, then it was announced Jamie Lynn would be leaving the show on Wednesday this week. Ten celebrities now remain in camp, The Mirror reports.

The current campmates are: TV personality Sam Thompson, This Morning's Josie Gibson, First Dates' Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, former politician Nigel Farage, JLS star Marvin Humes, EastEnders legend Danielle Harold, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, boxer Tony Bellew and jockey Frankie Dettori. ITV will not be replacing the pair and it's thought the show will move forward as normal, with an upcoming eviction on the horizon.

Jamie Lynn’s departure was announced today. An ITV spokesperson explained: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."

The other campmates are now aware that she will not be returning to the camp. Having walked away from the show on Wednesday, the singer and actress became the second celebrity to quit this season.

Jamie Lynn had raised concerns that she was ready to quit prior to her exit. During Tuesday night's episode, she became increasingly upset when Sam Thompson likened her to the boy who cried wolf.
