Wilderness on Amazon Prime Video: What time it drops and everything we know

Jenna Coleman fans don't have long left to wait for her latest drama series to drop.

The thriller Wilderness releases on Amazon Prime Video this week, which sees the former Emmerdale and Doctor Who star play Liv - an angry wife looking for revenge. The UK Original drama is based on B.E. Jones' 2017 novel of the same name.

The six-part series, which began filming last summer, sees a happily-ever-after quickly turn into a living nightmare. Liv and her husband Will - played by The Haunting of Hill House star Oliver Jackson-Cohen - are beginning an exciting new chapter of their lives in New York.

But their bubble soon bursts when Liv learns Will is having an affair- and seeks to get revenge. Jenna Coleman, ahead of the the SAG-AFTRA strikes, described the series as 'a darkly twisted thriller exploring a marriage gone wrong, which shifts into a cat-and-mouse psychological chess game between husband and wife.'

She added: "Ultimately Liv’s tale is one of survival - it becomes a very primal, visceral and feminine tale of coming into her own."

The series exclusively features Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version) as the song of the opening titles. Wilderness is directed by Lovesong's So Yong Kim, and executive produced by Luther and Poldark's Elizabeth Kilgarriff.
