Erik ten Hag's Manchester United squad were in high spirits during their training session as they prepared for Thursday's upcoming Europa League match against Fenerbahce. Cameras caught a fantastic moment when young player Ethan Wheatley embarrassed fellow forward Marcus Rashford during a drill.

Wheatley, who has been a regular on Ten Hag's bench this season, is part of the 20-man squad travelling to Istanbul. He was among the young players involved in first-team preparations, alongside teenage defenders Harry Amass and Habeeb Ugonneye, who are also heading to the Turkish capital.

The 18-year-old had a standout moment when he left Rashford red-faced during an intense rondo, nutmegging the United No.10 to a chorus of cheers. Wheatley was part of the outer circle with a mix of academy and senior players, including Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund.

After receiving a pressured pass from the defenders in the middle, Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee, Wheatley played the ball through the former's legs across the circle. Rashford, in disbelief, momentarily walked out of the circle with his head in his hands.

However, it was all good fun, as the 26-year-old joined his teammates in laughter over the incident that will undoubtedly be a topic of dressing room banter for some time, reports the Express.
