Why Manchester United game vs West Ham isn't on TV as Sky Sports selections explained

Manchester United will look to make it back-to-back wins when they take on West Ham at the London Stadium.

Erik ten Hag's side produced a 2-1 comeback against Brentford last time out, with Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund scoring the goals. Despite that victory, the United manager is still thought to be under scrutiny.

United sit 13th in the Premier League standings - after just three wins and as many defeats. West Ham, meanwhile, are two places below them after a difficult start to the campaign under their new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Only three points separates the teams heading into Sunday's encounter, however. As much as it promises to be an interesting affair, the match will not available to watch in the UK and here's why;

The match at the London Stadium will kick-off at 2pm on Sunday, October 27.

Due to their Europa League commitments, United will play on Sunday - having only played Fenerbahce away in Turkey on Thursday night. Tottenham and Chelsea were also in European action, playing against AZ Alkmaar and Panathinaikos respectively.

Therefore, both teams will also play at 2pm against Crystal Palace and Newcastle. With that said, Sky Sports are only able to broadcast two fixtures each Sunday. The games selected were Chelsea vs Newcastle and Arsenal vs Liverpool, which will kick-off at 4.30pm.
