Who is Habeeb Ogunneye? Manchester United teenager in FA Cup squad vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United are in FA Cup action against Nottingham Forest this evening and Erik ten Hag's injury crisis means youngster Habeeb Ogunneye could be handed his big opportunity.

The 18-year-old right-back has been named in the squad this evening. Aaron Wan-Bissaka hasn't featured since the 2-2 draw with Tottenham meaning Diogo Dalot is the only fit senior right-back.

Ogunneye may be a name not familiar to United supporters. Here, MEN Sport provides the lowdown on the teenager looking to make his senior debut tonight.

Born on November 12, 2005, Ogunneye is a right-back from the United academy. Having made a number of appearances for the Under-18s in the previous two campaigns, Ogunneye has made the step up to the Under-21s this year.

The right-back featured in the UEFA Youth League group stage earlier this season and also played 90 minutes in the EFL Trophy against Stockport County. Ogunneye has also featured for the England youth teams.

Having played in four straight games for the Under-21s at the start of the season, he spent the winter period back with the Under-18s before returning to the Under-21s for the 2-1 Manchester derby win over Manchester City.

No, tonight is his first inclusion in the United first-team squad.
