Who are the Team GB flag bearers at the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony?

All eyes are on France as the Olympic Games 2024 gets underway. The official opening ceremony will take place in the French capital on Friday night.

Paris will break tradition and for the first time the ceremony will not be taking place in a stadium. Instead, it is happening on Paris' famous River Seine. Thousands of athletes will take part including many of the 327 athletes representing Team GB in 24 different sports.

Glover will compete at her fourth Olympics in Paris as part of the women’s four.

She said: “This is probably the biggest honour of my life. I just love the Olympics and have always loved what it stood for. I still pinch myself that I am an Olympian, being a flagbearer and going down in history.

“I’ve never been to an Opening Ceremony before and I’ll be carrying the flag at my first one.. It’s unbelievable to be in this position. The
