Where to watch Women’s World Cup Final in Manchester as England play Spain

It's official: the Lionesses have made it to the Women's World Cup 2023 final.

Following a triumphant 3-1 victory against Australia on Wednesday (August 16), the Lionesses became the first English side since 1966 to reach the final on the world stage thanks to goals from Lauren Hemp, Ella Toone and Alessia Russo.

The match saw Toone, who was named player of the game, become the first England player to score in a quarter and semi-final game at the Euros and World Cup. Speaking after the game, Toone said her goal had been 'probably the best shot I've ever hit in my life'.

She added: "We've got each others' backs no matter what. I came into this competition with so much belief. This group has brought the best out of me. I feel fearless at the moment, I'm playing some of my best football."

The women's team, which is managed by Sarina Wiegman, will now head-off against Spain on Sunday morning (August 20) for the trophy. The game will kick off at 11am and pubs and bars up and down the country will be screening the big game in all its glory.

If you're looking to watch the game and soak up the atmosphere, we've rounded up just a small handful of some of the venues across Greater Manchester that will be showing the game.

Watching a football game at Hotel Football in Old Trafford just naturally feels right. The hotel’s onsite Cafe Football will be showing the game live across multiple big screens where a football-inspired menu will also be available to order, including pizzas, burgers, salads, bespoke beers and soft drinks.
