This Morning viewers make demand after Steve Jones' debut - and it's bad news for Josie Gibson

This Morning viewers have been left making a demand as Steve Jones made his debut on the show. The presenter is probably best known for being the host of Channel 4's teen schedule T4 from 2003 to 2010. He now, however, leads the presenting team on Channel 4 F1.

But on Wednesday (August 16), Steve was roped in to be Josie's new co-host, marking the first time he has ever fronted the ITV daytime show. Kicking off the mid-week edition of the programme, Josie welcomed Steve who shared how he was excited to be working on a programme which has always been part of his life and joked that he's now a 'big boy' as the show reminds him of an adult version of T4.

And with the mention of T4, Josie turned to her new co-star and said she was having to 'keep her cool' as she was a big fan. "I can't quite believe I'm here - I've been watching the show in some shape or form pretty much all my life," Steve said before adding: "It's a great honour to be here so thank you for having me."

"I'm a grown man myself now so I'm pretty cool about being here. I'm a big boy!" And as they cracked on with the busy show, This Morning viewers were flocking to social media to share their thoughts. @NiickBoii tweeted: "Seeing Steve Jones on #ThisMorning really takes me back to when I had such a huge crush on him. He does not age at all. Well hello hello."
