When Man City players are in action over the international break

Manchester City will learn the extent of Jack Grealish's thigh injury that kept him out of their Premier League win over Fulham this week.

Grealish is one of four players called up to represent England in their two fixtures over the coming fortnight, but is now a doubt for the Three Lions after picking up a thigh injury. City assistant Juanma Lillo couldn't confirm whether the setback would see him miss the England camp or not.

As well as Grealish, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Kalvin Phillips have been selected by Gareth Southgate for the Euro 2024 qualifier away to Ukraine, and the friendly match with rivals Scotland. Southgate warned Phillips that his lack of playing time at City is less than ideal after picking the midfielder in his squad.

New signings Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku have been selected by their countries, but Matheus Nunes is not in the Portugal squad, giving him time to work on the training pitch at City before making his debut.
