When is the Carabao Cup first-round draw 2022? TV channel, live stream, start time and ball numbers
The new season is drawing ever closer with the first-round of the 2022-23 Carabao Cup drawn this week.
This Thursday sees the Football League fixture list released, followed shortly after by the draws for the Papa Johns Trophy and the Carabao Cup.
Premier League teams are absent from the first round, which is split into a southern and northern section. Watford and Burnley also receive a bye to round two, with clubs involved in European football entering at the third round.
A total of 35 ties will be drawn involving the likes of QPR, Charlton, AFC Wimbledon and Reading.

The draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup takes place on Thursday, June 23, 2022.
The draw is set to start at 2.30pm BST.
