Orta eyeing Leeds bid for £15m ace who's "similar to Hazard", he's a "special talent" - opinion

Leeds United are interested in a deal to bring Keane Lewis-Potter to Elland Road in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report by I News, who claim that, despite Victor Orta moving on from his interest in Huddersfield Town central midfielder Lewis O’Brien, the sporting director is still tracking a number of the Championship’s most promising talents this summer, with Hull City’s Keane Lewis-Potter believed to be of particular interest to the Spaniard.

The report goes on to state that a number of other Premier League sides are also keeping a close eye on the situation of the left-winger ahead of a potential move of their own, while the Tigers are reported to be demanding a figure in the region of £15m in order to part with the England U21 international this summer.

Considering how exciting a prospect Lewis-Potter undoubtedly is, it is not difficult to understand why Orta would be interested in a deal to bring the 21-year-old to Elland Road in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, over his 46 Championship appearances in 2021/22, the £10.8m-rated talent was in spectacular form for Shota Arveladze’s side, scoring 12 goals, registering four assists and creating seven big chances for his teammates, as well as taking an average of 2.2 shots, making 1.1 key passes and completing 1.3 dribbles per game.
