When Amir Khan was on I'm a Celebrity, did he win and who else was on show

As the first I'm A Celebrity...South Africa makes its way to the small screen, fans of the show will be able to see some familiar faces survive the Australian jungle.

However, this ITV series is quite different to what regular viewers have grown accustomed to. With the season pre-recording all the antics of the all-stars cast who have previously appeared on the original version of the show as they battle it out to be crowned the first I'm A Celebrity Legend.

One of the stars returning for the crown is former professional boxer Amir Khan who appeared in the seventeenth series of the show in 2017. Amir appeared alongside Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, TV presenter Iain Lee, Corrie actress Jennie McAlpine, footballer Denis Wise, politician Stanley Johnson, The Saturday's singer Vanessa White, model Rebekah Vardy, politican Kezia Dugdale, comedian Shappi Khorsandi, and YouTuber Jack Maynard. Amir finished in fifth place.

However during the series, Amir found himself caught up in "Strawberry Gate" alongside Iain - a drama that gripped the nation.

After winning strawberries and cream in the Dingo Dollar prize, the pair demolished the food without letting the other campmates get a look in.

Amir then let radio host Iain take the blame for eating the strawberries. At the time, Amir said: "He suffered a little bit, a bit more than me. My campmates knew me really well and said 'Amir wouldn’t do that’. I did take some blame and said I was part of it and did eat the strawberries."
