WhatsApp down: Live updates at thousands report problems sending messages

The communication app, Whatsapp is experiencing problems as thousands of people have reported it as not working. Downdetector has had over 50,000 reports of people not being able to use the app.

Users have had problems connecting to the app, sending messages and making calls within the last hour. The most reported issue is not being able to send a message with 56% of reporters claiming this issue.
