Manchester City recorded a comprehensive win at Manchester United on Sunday.

United started well, but City soon put their stamp on the game and went ahead thanks to Erling Haaland's first-half penalty. Rodri and Dias ensure no United dark arts

On Tuesday, when United conceded a penalty at Old Trafford, Alejandro Garnacho cheekily scuffed up the spot while Copenhagen's players were protesting the decision, and Andre Onana proceeded to save the spot-kick. When Paul Tierney awarded a penalty to City in the first half of the derby after consulting the VAR screen, both Rodri and Ruben Dias ensured there would be no such dark arts this time.

Both members of the captaincy group took turns in protecting the penalty spot, allowing Erling Haaland to compose himself away from the commotion. Haaland then walked up calmly, placed the ball down, and sent Onana the wrong way.
