What Rasmus Hojlund is looking forward to most ahead of Manchester United home debut

Erik ten Hag insists Rasmus Hojlund is 'so excited' to get his home debut when Manchester United host Brighton and Hpve Albion this afternoon.

Hojlund made his first appearance for United in the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal before the international break. The 20-year-old came off the bench for 23 minutes as he continues to build up fitness, following the detection of a stress fracture in his back during medical tests.

“I hope Rasmus is really important in this game, but he's so excited," Ten Hag told MUTV. "It's his first time [playing at] Old Trafford.

"And as he is a really big Manchester United fan as a young kid, so it is amazing for him to enter Old Trafford tomorrow with our home fans and I'm sure they will all be behind him and behind the team.”

United fans got an early glimpse of the impact Hojlund could have at the Emirates, with the £72million man playing a key role in the build up to Alejandro Garnacho's disallowed goal. It was his flick to Casemiro that opened up the move, but unfortunately the young Argentinian was just offside. A cautious international break - he came off the bench in both of Denmark's games - has been beneficial for his fitness and Ten Hag is excited
