'What is happening!?' - Manchester United fans fume after two-minute collapse vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United fans are calling for major changes already after a terrible start against Nottingham Forest.

There was plenty of optimism around Old Trafford prior to kick-off after seeing Anthony Martial start for the first time since last season, allowing Marcus Rashford to play in his preferred position on the wing. However, this optimism was incredibly short-lived.

After gaining a corner in front of the Stretford End in the 2nd minute, the Reds were caught on the counter-attack. Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi broke through and slotted past Andre Onana.

With United still licking their wounds after conceding the first goal, Onana was soon picking the ball out of the back of the net for the second time. In the 4th minute, Willy Boly headed home for the visitors.

The second goal sparked fury among the fanbase on X and they have made their feelings clear. Here is a selection of responses to the dreadful start.

Fortunately for United, they have managed to get themselves back into the match. Bruno Fernandes' long-range effort was parried away by Matt Turner but a Rashford cross then came into the area for Christian Eriksen to score from four yards out.

The Reds are on the charge but they are still behind and looking to avoid two straight defeats on the bounce this season. Supporters are planning to protest against the Glazers with a 60-minute sit-in.

United's Adidas home shirt is made up of the same colour of the city's iconic red rose and features a black collar. The collar also features a dash of both red and white, giving it a slick and modernised look.

Prices start from £55
