'What have I done?' - Jadon Sancho slammed in fresh rant over Manchester United transfer saga

Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho has been slammed for his conduct after the England winger completed his move to Borussia Dortmund.

It was a positive return to Germany for Sancho after he was introduced for his second debut midway through the second-half. The 23-year-old provided for Marco Reus as Dortmund doubled their lead before Edin Terzic's side went on to win 3-0 away at rock-bottom SV Darmstadt.

Sancho returned to the Bundesliga this week on a short-term loan, ending his spell away from first-team football after being axed by manager Erik ten Hag. Both the United boss and the £73million winger were involved in a high-profile, public spat following their trip to the Emirates Stadium in September.

Was Sancho at fault? Paul Merson thought so. "Of course it is," he told Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday. "He could've gone in to the manager and said sorry, even if you didn't mean it just go in and say it.

"He will look back on this when his career finishes at 30, 32 whatever age he is and he'll think 'I've just signed for the biggest club in the world and I threw it all away.' That's the problem with football sometimes now.

"They get money so quickly that is doesn't matter, it's just a case of 'I've failed' but the lad had it at his feet. He'll go to Dortmund, he'll get his goals and chances but it's not English football, you give the ball out to the winger, one-v-one, they want to see goals in Germany.
