'What do you mean?' - Manchester United fans can't believe what David de Gea did vs Fulham

Manchester United fans were left in shock after David de Gea pulled off a brilliant penalty save against Fulham on Sunday.

United welcomed the Cottagers to Old Trafford for the final Premier League game of the season, having already secured a top-four finish and a place in next season's Champions League with Thursday's 4-1 win against Chelsea.

The Reds still had something to play for, with a third-place finish up for grabs, while Erik ten Hag will have been hoping to keep up momentum ahead of next weekend's FA Cup final against Manchester City.

However, things got off to a poor start when Fulham defender Kenny Tete headed in Willian's corner on 18 minutes. Marco Silva's side were handed a great chance to double their lead four minutes later when Casemiro brought down Tom Cairney in the box. However, Aleksandar Mitrovic saw his effort brilliantly saved by De Gea.

The 32-year-old has often been criticised for his perceived lack of ability to save spot-kicks, and Reds supporters were very surprised to see him deny Mitrovic, taking to social media to share their thoughts.
